“Iwan” Center for Architectural Heritage held the Third International Conference of the Architectural Heritage, entitled “Experiences and Solutions to the Conservation and Rehabilitation, on the occasion of International Day for heritage.
The conference focused on building connections and sharing experiences to help organizations, communities and individuals charged with caring for special places meet the new challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. Conference sessions will explore new approaches to the protection of special places as well as the stories, traditions, languages and cultures that give them meaning. A key conference goal will be to identify innovative ways to successfully engage people and communities in this work.
More than 67 participants from 16 states participated, in the field of art and architecture, and more than 65% of the researches submitted to the Conference from regional and international institutions confirming on the importance of having such architectural centers to preserve the Palestinian heritage.
